Our local partner surf school Escuela del Mar has a privileged and unique location on Carenero Island. One of the most beautiful island of Bocas del Toro. We are close to easy waves for beginners and also waves for more experienced surfers.
We provide clear explanations on every subject before going in the water and after 30 minutos of preparation we go in our boat to the best waves around. We spend around 2 hours in the water and go back to our surf school house.

Our surf head couch Luis Bertone uses easy-to-follow teaching techniques to help you learn the most physically demanding part of surfing, paddling.
Learn to surf quickly with Luis, our dedicated and experienced instructor. Luis has been surfing and teaching for more than 10 years. He is completely fluent in Spanish and English.
Luis and his team will provide clear explanations on every subject before going in the water like surfing basics, safety, methods to understand basic weather and tides, etc.
Full surf, skate, kayak and more equipment for everyone
Escuela del Mar have everything you need and more to keep enjoying your time in our surf camp before or after de surf. We have skates, SUP, kayak, snorkels and much more. We have all the equipment you need to enjoy incredible extra activities around the beautiful caribbean sea.

Bringing surf to the community
Surfing is much more than a simple sport for us and in Escuela del Mar we also support our Bocas del Toro local community to help the young kids develop their passion for surf. Through surfing the new and young generation develop important values for our society. In Escuela Del Mar we support local foundations that brings kids around the island together and enjoy life through surfing.
